Taw Ainslie 2005-2026
When I think of Taw I think of the man who had a huge heart. Who, even at 20, would rugby tackle you in the kitchen and pin you to the ground, who would at any time of day or night start blowing his hunting horn and smile at the chaos it caused, the boy who was so eager to please and be part of a team, and the boy who was just so at home in the country following his own path rather than the slightly sterile route that many follow.

Thank you, Andrew Miller
When I think of Andrew Miller and his contribution to Quest, I think “First Aid on Steroids.” Today, marking his last course at Quest, we salute this man of courage, tenacity and excellence.

Beyond the Classroom: The Practical Skills most people Rarely Get Taught
Ask Jim and Sheila Musto how Quest Ascent got started, and the story goes back to a friend of theirs in Zimbabwe and the founder of Quest Africa, Harvey Leared, who noticed something simple: many young people were leaving school lacking useful life skills, without which their lives would be limited and their ability to be useful and have an exciting, adventurous life would be compromised.
